About Us
Our Mission
The Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Waste Authority's mission is to promote recycling, waste reduction and responsible disposal of all waste from households, businesses and industry by providing comprehensive, environmentally sound, cost-effective, and technically reliable solid waste management programs for all people living and working within Jefferson and Belmont counties.
About Us
The Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Waste Authority functions
as an arm of local goverment, with representatives from both
Jefferson and Belmont Counties, municipalities, local government
leaders, and elected officials.
The Jefferson-Belmont Regional Solid Waste Authority Board
of Directors is composed of 14 members, seven from Jefferson
County and seven from Belmont County as specified in the provisions
of the Ohio Revised Code 3734.54.
